" Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: " (Psalm 103:1-2)Halleluyah! Bless the Lord! In our lives as Christians or in life generally, we encounter various challenges and "high hills" in our journey. Regardless of what we are and the various ways these challenges come, we can be very sure of its universal motive: oftenly for our good. As Paul noted being inspired by God,
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans:8:28)Whether it is a momental problem, or it has been occurring, we should always know that we are in Jesus and He never sleeps. He sees all and He is All-Knowing and definitely all these things will eventually be for our good. That's why, beloved brethren, bless the Lord, always.
There is never a man I've known without problems. However, perhaps presently in our lives, our Lord shield keeps us steer clear from challenges (which He always do) and everything is smooth, please bless the Lord. Thank Him for all He has done, all He is doing and all He will do. We should never think our conducts made us came through but we should give glory to whom it's due--God.
God is good all the time and thanksgiving should never leave our lips. David wrote in Psalms,
" O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. " (Psalm:136:3)God's mercy is not momentarily. His abounding love got our sins forgiven by His Precious Son. He that so much loved the world that gave His only begotten son, to die for our sins and give us life forever, will He after paying such a great price for us, abandon us?
" God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? " (Numbers:23:19)Therefore Beloved ones, let's thank the Lord for all He has done, all He is doing and all He will do. Let's come to repentance and do the needful in our lives. Like the "The Preacher" said, that we should fear God and keep His commandments, I believe to praise the Lord always make us surmount our challenges and overcome the wicked to fear God and keep His commandments just as it helped Joshua and the "merry men" conquer Jericho.
Amen.
