“Not Slothful In Business”

January 05, 2023 2

“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” (Romans 12:11)

“The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.” (Proverbs 13:4)

We all have desires. We all crave something. Whether we are content with the little we got or greedy for more, the point remains that we all want something.

However often time, to acquire all we desire, we look to the other side of the scale. We focus on the goal mostly instead of the process. We focus on the dream so much that we forgot to sleep. We are sold on the vision that we don't even know how to get there.

“Not slothful in business.” Let's look at this analogy: a basketball team. If the team wants to win a championship league, do they focus on the scoreboard or the team play? Most certainly, they focus on playing so well while the scoreboard and points take care of themselves. Similarly, in the words of a Genius, “you don't get results by focusing on results. You get results by focusing on the actions that produce results.”

Beloved, let's get to work and master our crafts. Let's not procrastinate or waste time building up ourselves. Delays in results aren't a denial of them but if you fail to work, what result would you expect?

I wish you a highly productive week!

Some Awakening As We Approach The New Year

January 02, 2023 2

“…and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Happy new year everyone. May this new year be our best one yet. I pray that we achieve all we genuinely set our hearts upon, In Jesus' Name.

As we approach this new year, many of us are already planning to carry out the set plans for the year or the “traditional” resolutions, which there is absolutely nothing wrong with. However, beyond goals, plans, and vision, we always keep our bearing right.

The above verses affirmed that we do not belong to ourselves: we are not ours. Yes, our visions, dreams, and goals are most probably for our benefit but we need to understand that what makes us living beings is more than these things. Our life is like a plane flying from Lagos, Nigeria heading to Florida, US. Yes, we paid for the flight, however, if we do not allow the plane to move in the set bearing by the pilot, we will never make it to Florida. We would keep flying randomly till we are eventually out of aviation fuel.

The same applies to our lives, we could fly so high with our wisdom and strength, however without the right pilot setting our lives on the right course, we would get frustrated after flying so high but getting nowhere or eventually implode because we are out of aviation fuel

This is no religious or motivational talk: Let's get things real and personal, We need to set things right in our lives. This is an awakening as we approach this lovely new year. Get your bearings right, and get the pilot right on board.

May God make this year super prosperous for us more than in previous years. Have a great day everyone.

The Greatest Life Lesson 2020 Taught Me

November 10, 2020 0

Pride goeth before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.” (Proverbs 16:18)

2020 has been one of the toughest years so far. It features so many dramas, acts, scenes and stories. The biggest of all the dramas of the year is the corona virus pandemic. It killed people like flies. Many important people died, protests occurred, complete restructure of things, and list goes on…

Of course, the year brought blessings to many as well as curses. It lifted many and broke many. If you’re alive to read this, I presume you’ve survived thus far: Congratulations! Only favoured people pull through anyway.

One of the weirdest thing also happened to me personally this year and that taught me a lesson I’d never forget. It also affirm the above biblical quotation to be plausible—a haughty spirit before a fall. This might probably be a cliché to you but it’s soundness in the world today is a good as when it was first stated.

Regardless of the situation we are, whether we have more or little, humility should be our way of life. Humility should never depart from us. We should never brag even if what we’ve got is superior. We should always keep the fire burning inside us and just show the world what we’ve built with it. This may be another cliché, however, it must be never joked with.

The reason why this is my greatest lesson for the year is this: that for every proud and haughty entity, destruction lies await and for every humble spirit and entity, uplift awaits such. May we have the grace to choose wisely. Remain blessed ❤️

The Issue Of Morals & Spirituality In The 21st Century

August 24, 2020 11
We need a new lens through which we see the world

I don’t like to discuss this because this is not an acceptable subject. However, it is an important one. We may try our best to ensure that we circumspect the issue whenever we are dragged into it, however, we only break ourselves against the law as the law can’t be broken

Living in the 21st century comes with a very broad advantages—a lot of privileges our forefathers never had a glimpse of. We can have breakfast in Lagos, Nigeria and dinner in Florida, US; our speeches and texts can span across continents all in a matter of seconds; we can make money just moving cursors around a computer screen while basking in the summer sun…all these comforts and privileges are endless and had just barely begun.

In a world hyper concerned about the “latest” and “trends”, it’s fast becoming a faux pas that in lieu of these comfort and gadgets to help us achieve our dreams faster, it rather compound our problems. Many are so concerned with upgrading their iPhones that they now live for phones. So is it with cars; so is it with getting sex partners. All these things—to acquire them—burns down to money. So we all start chasing the dough. If you need a theme for our 21st century, just call it the money race.

I’m not here saying gibberish hogwash like money ain’t good or all that. In fact, everyday I hustle to achieve financial freedom which I will have soon. However, we’ve fast forgotten our values, what we stand for. We’ve fast forgotten that there’s more to life.

Money is such a beautiful servant but a poor master. Today, money masters us all. Relationship is monetised, marriage, loyalty, think of it, virtually everything is. I know many of us can be like what’s life use without money, however, let’s check out the lives of our “mentors” that always chased the bag:

  • Many of them are either bisexual or homosexual
  • Many of them are living on drugs
  • Many are divorced, can’t maintain a marriage for 2 years
  • Many of them die young

While we are all chasing the bag and all that, it’s better we think of where we are heading with all the noise. In my own personal opinion, I think it won’t sustain us for long. We might amass a reasonable amount of money, however, most people would be suicidal, as pressing issues will arise which money can’t solve. Moving forward, we can all make it really big yet still being responsible, offering reasonable services and raising future leaders. Most “chasers of the dough” aren’t anywhere near 5% of Bill Gates’s wealth, yet their lives is as doomed as the word doom itself. We need a rethink, we need a new lens through which we see the world.

We can’t cut corners as far as morals is involved. We can’t neglect spirituality to marijuana “high”. These are the Universe Laws which must followed. It will catch up later, if it doesn’t now. While I am not asking you to be a saint, I am not asking you to be a sinner either.

Have a blessed week ❤️

Cyber Mind Versus Real Mind

August 23, 2020 0

A lot of us are caught up in the cyberworld of hypocrisy. Many of us really do not have a mind of our own except the one that operates through us—cybermind. It is very sad many would have to die with this. It is so sad because it takes one no where…

When I was much younger, the trend was Yahoo! Facebook was making big wave and Eskimi was where the babes were. Fast forward to today, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Youtube….are the major trends of today. My point is if these social media and cyber entertaining platforms rule your mind and influence your decision, just know that your decision will never be firm because the source aren’t. Like seasons, they come and go.

Your profile picture, WhatsApp statuses, liked videos are just a far cry to your self-improvement or building your future. Sure, you may earn from these things, however, what gives you the potential to earn from these things is just way out of the cyber world. We are talking about the real world here where you see yourself as you truly are not as much ‘likes’ you have. Highly successful people do not rally spend vast time on Cyberworld. The reason is that they know the value the real world gives them is a billion folds more than the cyberworld. So, they stick to what’s better.

Dear Reader, get a mind of your own not what societal influence hands over to you. Improve it with books and words of smart people--people much better than you. Do not confuse real life success with Instagram fame. Choose your path, wisely.

Have a great week ❤️

“That Moment”—The Act of Reminisce

August 15, 2020 6

Moment is life and life is filled with moments. Everyday we make moments, some which becomes memories. In our lives, some moments bring joy; some tears; some confusion; and the list goes on...

“That moment”, no matter what it is made up of, was a moment. “That moment” never should influence your present. Past successes guarantees no future fame and dreadful moments mean no dread end. Life is full of instances and instances is about everything—right here —in life.

Stop reflecting on “that moment” and start making moments.

Have a great weekend ❤️

Many Things Are Unexplainable And Will Always Be

July 17, 2020 0

As a man, I have observed many things. As a living being—just as seasons come and go—situations, circumstances or whatever we call it are just bound to occur. There is probably never going to be a perfect day without worry or worries. After something is settled, another one pops and the loop continues...

The wrong questions to ask when we are faced with these “things” is the why questions. I am not saying we should not inquire about the reason why are faced with a problem so as to proffer a better solution, however, the truth of the matter is many a times we won’t understand the reason behind things happening to us. Streams of questions may go down the line, “why did she act that way”, “why didn’t it work out”, “why am I faced with this”, “why...”

Since our most educated answers to these questions would be “I don’t know”, I would suggest we rather as what we can do to take advantage of the situation. What we can do to move on—to go forward. Life can be understood when we look backward but, it must be lived forward.

Maybe what we are faced with is just a dot to be connected with other dots in the future. May be later on we would understand why God made that happened. Life can be understood when looked backward, but, life must be lived forward.

Have a nice day and great weekend ðŸ™‚

We Should Never Joke With Trust Issues

July 09, 2020 0

We’ve heard it many times. We are very familiar with it. “Trust nobody”, “Be wary of friends”, “No one could be trusted”. As days go by and as we grow mature, these words, being often heard of, have almost become a cliché. Almost everyone knows of it but the weight and value, we do not understand.

A good friend once told me that it is good to learn from one’s mistake. But, it is better to learn from the mistakes of others. The fact that we have not experienced betrayal or maybe in simple circumstances, does not make these “common” sayings stupid. Many experienced people who has gone through the ups and downs of life would advise one to never joke with trust issues. Such a mistake could cost a lifetime.

While I am not saying trusting people is bad, I am only suggesting that we take the matter of trust seriously. We might not value it now, we will later. Be wary of whom you tell your plans, stories and accomplishments. We are opportune to choose who we like, but, those who likes us, we cannot.

If all seems well and okay with us, it’s good. Good Friendships are like smooth sailing boat on a calm river of fine fettle. However, things happen and we can learn from our mistakes—I suggest we learn from mistakes already made by others to avoid ourselves committing one.

Stay blessed.

We Should Gain Mastery In Something

July 09, 2020 4

We can’t all be perfect. We can’t always get everything we want. As a young man, one of the things I’ve learned so far about life is that the world we live in is so dynamic and change in an accelerating pace, both positively and negatively, depending on how we choose to see it. Nevertheless, things happen so fast.

Today something trends, tomorrow something else pops up; an average human mind would try to be everything the world throws at him, forgetting the fact that, the things that would be thrown at him is seemingly endless. And in the end, he would looked at his pasts and realize he has really achieved nothing.

So as not to be swayed in the world of “noise” and “trends” we should gain mastery in something useful, something we love, something we desire. If we love it and we keep on doing it, it really doesn’t matter what the world throw at us, we just keep keeping on to what we love and we just quietly thrash out junks thrown at us. May it not be too late before we realize this I pray.

Have a blessed day.

Fear Is A Waste Of Time

July 06, 2020 0

A lot of times, we fear. A lot of times things scares us. Many people are victims of fears and most often, many people are the results of fear. Why do we fear? Why do we do things like if we don’t, we would die? Many people will never live their best live because of the object called Fear. Fear is the excuse for many people’s failure—sometimes, Success.

Beloved, to be honest with you, fear is just a hallucination, an object created in the mind. Just don’t think of fear as an “obstruction in the propagation of sun rays”, it is far from it. Fear is not even shadow! It is far...just like running from your imagination with your legs, that’s fear.

Every force of the universe can be transmuted to its beneficial or useful terms and it is expedient to ensure that fear becomes your victim to do great things. Never become an object of fear, you will run endlessly as long as you breathe, you will run forever.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear...”

We Are Tethered To Christ

May 24, 2020 0

“…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”( Matthew 28:20)

When we gave our lives to Christ, we surrendered our all to Him. We accepted us in our filthy sins and cleansed us with His precious blood. Not only that, He adopted us as His begotten Son and made us Heir over everything He has. However, although we have been separated from our “old man”, we are utterly not free from temptations. What if we drawn away by our own desire and enticed…?

The Bible makes it clear that we are not tempted by God but our desire lured us to sin. However let’s us condemn ourselves after we discovered that we’ve been away from the normal course. Let’s remember that, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.”( Romans 5:6). Long before we were born and conceived, we were saved by the blood. Is it because we kept commandments? No, it’s just of His awesomeness of Grace.

While this is not a license to live a sinful life, let’s understand that even when we seem to be far away, we’re close by the blood of the lamb. We are tethered to Him. We are called of Him and regardless of what we think of ourselves, He has saved us and called us to be His workmanship.

May the grace of God abide us to His God’s will and make have eternity with Jesus.

Amen

God Remains Faithful Even In Darkest Hours

April 03, 2020 0

"If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. " (2 Timothy 3:13)

The pandemic around is not unapparent to everyone. Apart from the cure to the virus which is most rampant, many of us has things we are trusting God for. Our needs and wants are endless and as we live everyday, many situations show which makes us depend more and more on our Creator.

Beloved Ones, everything at the moment can seem incomprehensive and it may seem like there is no God or He does not answers prayer. We might think of alot but it's important to have the right thinking so as not to be caught up in the trap of the enemy. The Bible made us understand that God can not deny Himself even when we are faithless --He remains faithful.

So, when things are falling apart (or seems to be ) and the whole situation is (or seems to be ) without control, let's not forget that we have a Creator that loves us unconditionally and would deliver us from the snare of the enemy. God is more powerful and greater than any disease or virus. He would deliver the world from the whole pandemic and Jesus will rule and reign. In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

What We Can Do As Regards The Pandemic--As Christians.

March 31, 2020 0

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. " (John 16:33)

We are all aware of the raging viral disease. COVID-19 is not an unknown disease to many (if not) all of us. Statistics has all the record of deaths and havoc it has caused around the world. It spreads and kills very quick and no one would ever dare to joke with it.

In order to curb this virus, government has ordered the lock-down of public transportation and mass gathering which includes the Church--and this has caused many arguments, troubles or let's say wahala. Many thinks the Antichrist is here; many disobey the order of the government and still attend church programmes; many as a result of disobedience has landed into trouble...the list goes on and on.

Looking at this matter from a different angle, I believe we should understand the fact that first, it is not the will of God that we should all perish. It is the will of God that we all get saved and sleep in the Lord. So, we shouldn't think the virus is here because God is angry with the earth, nay, God loves the world yesterday, today and forever.

It is also expedient for us to understand that WE are the Church not the monuments and buildings. Government might correctly said every mass gathering should be avoided in order to reduce the spread of the virus, however, they NEVER said we should stop our fellowship with God. Government can not separate us from the love of God neither would the virus. What does Paul said in Romans 8:38-39?

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any  other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "

If we rephrase and believe the above words because we are Believers, then we would have no problem worshiping God during this pandemic. We wouldn't have to disobey authorities God told us to honor. Christ is everywhere and much more in you for your body is His Temple.

Lastly Beloved, as Believers let's keep praying against the viral disease that's taking lives. Let's also obey the authorities and observe the measures they've laid to avoid the spread of the virus. Let's  understanding that the world is under the sway of the wicked and our citizenship is in Heaven. Let's keep praying that the cure is released so that world becomes healed. Above all, let's faithfully affirm the words of Jesus, "...[HE] has overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Amen

What Makes Christmas So Special?

December 25, 2019 0

No doubt, Christmas is not unknown to everyone of us. The celebration of the Birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ takes the whole world back to that little stable in Bethlehem. From decorations to fireworks, from holidays from work to special celebrations in School; the whole wide world indeed recognize a King born--a child--which was God.

While we spend special moments with our friends and families, it is expedient to recognize the sole reason of this celebration. Whether theologically Christmas is acceptable or not, let's come to a very reasonable conclusion with our God. Jesus said in John 15:13 that "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." And that's the message, LOVE.

Christmas is not just a time to show love and care, however it's a reminder to love. If God in all His magnificience could come in the flesh and dwell admist men to heal our sins, then we should do that also in remembrance of Him. We should "go thou and do likewise". We should forgive and let go of things that is not glorifying Him.

In conclusion, it's a privilege to witness this Christmas. Do not forget to be grateful regardless of how you celebrate the day. Show love to family and friends. Show genuine love to everybody. Remember, Christmas is special because it reminds us about LOVE.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.

It Is Not About How Much We Do But How Much We Believe

December 10, 2019 0

"Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt."(Romans4:4)

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness..."(2 Corinthians 12:9)

Glory be to God in the highest. Gods is awesome. Many a time as humans, we tend to try to get things done on our own. Since we are responsible for our actions, we try to get it all right. As Christians, we tend to "work": all to please God. While there is nothing wrong with "working", we might have gotten some things wrong.

When Jesus was a man, He visited a certain lady called Martha and Martha had a sister named Mary. Probably because Jesus is around and because of His fame, she was so busy trying to get things around done that she don't even listen to the words of Jesus. However, her sister Mary just sat at Jesus' feet listening to Jesus and when Jesus would address Martha, He said she was "distracted which much serving." (see Luke 10: 39-42)

In numerous ways we are like Martha. Many of us are so religiously clogged up that we barely have a relationship with our Redeemer. While what we do is not bad, it's better to do few important things that many useless things. What does God expects of us? The Book of John explains better:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)(My emphasis)

That's just it. We should spend our time building up our faith in God. We should spend time meditating His Words. We should spend time doing things that matters. After all, it's His grace that pull us through and help us achieve whatever we want, why then burden ourselves being "distracted with much servings"?

Amen

Is It Normal For We Christians To Drift From Our Faith In God?

November 18, 2019 0

"...Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." (Romans 1:32)

We've experienced it. Wehave all encountered it in many aspects of our lives. In a moment, we become very devout to Him; long for Him and things pertaining to Him and hungry more and more for Him. On the other side, even though we are aware of how dangerous it is to leave yet we fool hardly continue in our own ways.

Is it normal? Why does it happen? Does it mean it's bound to happen? Our Lord and Saviour made us understand that " Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:" (James 1:13). HE is a holy God and drifting is not a characteristics of Him. Since we are His Image created in similitude of Him, we are bound to do what He does by default if we dwell in Him.

So why do we all drift? Why do we suddenly become cold after being on fire for Him? Our Lord and Saviour spoke through His Servant, " But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed."(James 1:14). It is a dent from us. It is a flaw from us. It's an error from our side. We're not strong enough in the faith. We're yet to be fully established.

The journey to the Cross is of a lifetime. Moreover NO one is ever perfect, however, Christ Himself is our perfection. In fact, because of our sins and weaknesses, Christ in His infinite mercy died for us. So, when we realise we're far away and that still small voice lets us know of how dangerous our acts are, we can always run back to our Father and genuinely tell Him how sorry we.

It's not normal to drift but it's part of the process. It is then up to us to choose whether the seed of the gospel drops on our good ground or wayside. May God, the Father of Lights and every perfect good gift give us the grace not to drift away from His course now and forever. AMEN

Finding Your Purpose

November 02, 2019 0

Purpose is crucial. Purpose is something tangent and mostly misunderstood. Many of us are just living and we don't even know what we want in life. Many a person is died without a single knowledge of who truly he is.
It's very lethal to be caught up in that state. It's deadly because you only live once and living a life without definiteness of purpose and purpose would simply waste your time -your life.

Purpose is as important as living life itself. Purpose should be the essence of living. Examining the creations of God, we would realize that God carefully and purposely selected many things to be in place. The sky, moon, sun and atmosphere are not just there. The serve purpose and they do so. Because the sun shines and gives energy, we could do many things and acknowledge it presence. So is it with us, we are not just here. We're carefully selected and placed here to get many things accomplished. Unfortunately, many of us have drifted away from what we're called to do and just caught up in vain things.

Many people will never get what they want in life regardless of how hard they try. It's not that they are cursed but they are working hard in the wrong way. And no matter how hard they work in the wrong way, they will never be right. That's why it's important to go back to your Source. That's why we should all uncover the veil behind our identity and do the needful.

Not every one are meant to do the same thing. Our strengths and weaknesses differ. Alas! Many people do not even know their strengths or weaknesses; let alone major in their strength and fix that weakness.

Dear Reader, we're not here for long. In years to come, you'll certainly be history like your great grand father. If you don't find your purpose now and do what you're created to do now, when will you? A life of no impact is a life of no value and a life without a destination is not as good no life.

The surest way to know and do what you're created for is to get closer to your Creator-God. It's a personal thing not a religious thing. Get closer to Jesus, know what you're purpose is, act accordingly and do not drift away. Do this, and you'll realize that you and many great accomplishment authors have things in common...

Thinking About Future

May 30, 2019 0

On a sane circumstance,  we should think long term: our plans ahead;  the life we are trying to create.  It is considered unwise to see not further or beyond the instance, however, it may be considered to be further examined.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ said ib Matthew 6:27, “which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? ” Obviously, the answer is no. We don't own our lives.  Many a person dreamed great things and had great plans but life doesn't grant the opportunity; many even met their grave early. Often times, what we think is utterly different from what will happen, so,  why bother stressing ourselves and being anxious? I believe the above verse has told it all.

Jesus continued and said,  “Take therefore no thoughts for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matt. 6:34). I believe we should although think,  however,  of the day we are and make the most of it.

Amen

We Are Privileged

April 06, 2019 0

“But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” (Matthew 13:16-17)

Jesus said what's in the above verses when He was about to explain a parable to His disciples. In so many ways in our lives, we are so much privileged and opportuned. But, because of our insatiable wants and all that, we always forget all we've got and chase our wants, that's the problem of most of us.

When we reflect deeply on many things that has happened to us, we'd realize that we ought to be always grateful to God at all times. For example, if you are reading this post, then it means you've got a sound eyes. It means you healthy enough to read on your phone / PC. It means you're educated enough to read what's posted on the Internet. It means you're alive today to give your life to Jesus or continue to be faithful to Him...

The list of our gratitude is quite endless when we look through all God has done in our lives. We should never let temporary defeat weigh us down. We shouldn't let what we want make us forget all we have. Let's ensure we work towards our daily gratitude to God.

Also, moving further in the opening verses, Jesus explained the “parable of the sower.” Reading from Matthew 13:8, Jesus talked about the different kinds of believers that exists. It is a great privilege to know this and as Christians / believers in Jesus, we can know our stand. It is a great privilege that we do not have to be saved by our works for Jesus paid the price on the Cross. It is a privilege for a born-sinner man to be cleansed completely from sin and be called child of the Most High.

It's normal to desire good things and it is not a sin to want to buy what pleases one. However, the crave for our wants should never surpass our gratitude to God. They should never even compete at all. To whom much is given, much is expected.

God bless

There Is A Big Difference Between A Christian And A Mere Positive Person

March 29, 2019 0

These states used to be confusing to me. I used to think merely being positive mean being Christian. However, in recent times, I've discovered there is a broad difference between them.

The difference is not so profound but we often make the mistake. Once we started reading good books, listening to good music, keeping good company, even many times reading the Bible, we probably often think, “yeah, I'm a good person—a Christian.” While all these aren't wrong and that in fact, we ought to express all these qualities, most of us usually still doesn't get the glimpse of what truly a Christian is.

Let's say a person with addiction for example, he prays to the Lord and switched things up (which we may refer to as positive living). Few days later (or even few hours), he finds himself doing the same thing he prayed to the Lord against; repents, changed, finds himself doing the same...

This may lead to the question, “Does God answers prayers?” The Lord Jesus said ANYTHING we ask the Father in His name, He will DO it. So, going back to our example case study, why won't he break free from the bond? Many  “whys” upon “whys” have arose from this positive living “stumbling”.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

That's just it—being spiritual. This is the boundary that separates them from us. We may try learn natural laws, be philosophical, be hyper positive and ethically serene: these all are good things. But, having not the Spirit of Christ means we are none of His. It simply means we are trying to make ourselves good when already, “all have sinned.”

Let's not make the mistake being positive in lieu of being Christ's. Let's keep our worship highly spiritual and less religious. While here, power of positive energy might help us get further and inspire people, but it will be a tragedy to realize in the after days that “body without spirit is dead.”

Amen
