Many times in our lives as Christians, we are usually stuck with questions of rights and wrongs. Despite the fact that God has provided all the answers we need, yet we keep on searching to satisfy our insatiable curious minds. From foods to words, from clothes to deeds; our minds just kept right on inquiring.
While there is nothing wrong with knowing what is right from what is wrong, it is most important to realise that God's indwelling Spirit in us works out Salvation in our lives and that there can't be a better Source of answers He would lead us to than His own Words. Google can't do this; Internet won't either.
The Word of God makes it clear in the above verse that everything we do both in words and deeds should be done in His Name. In other words, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31) It can't get more clearer. We can't understand this more.
In conclusion, to know things acceptable to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is simple: If what we do gives Him glory; if what we indulge in can be done in His name. And if it doesn't comply with these criteria of God's Word, then we can be sure of how dangerous such thing may be.
