Lets Work Our Faith / Putting Faith In Action

"Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils
also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith
without works is dead?" (James 2:19-20)

There have been a lot of controversies as regards the Book of James
and the Pauline Epistles. However, the Bible is perfect.
Our Salvation is not of works lest anyone should boast on what he/she
does and Christ death is not meaningful but as long as it is not, well
works are normal.

The Book of James emphasized on useless faith professed, which we
should not be categorized in: the people that love God only with their
tongue. What does it profit when we say we love God but deceive our
own heart? What does it profit when we learn all the Scripture but not
living it?
As Christians, we ought to be Christ-like that we might be a
reflection of The Light. If we are not reflecting the Light, what
would people imitate in our Life as Christians?

Jesus Christ loved/loves us and willingly gave His life for us--He did
something and His love was perfected among us. So, we being the Body
of Christ, can we do the same? Are we just hearer of the Law(Law of
Liberty) and not doer deceiving ourselves? Christ already gave us the
Greatest Commandments--are we following it? Do we really love God and
our neighbour?

We can't just sit out and expect some kind of miracle or
transformation of the world we live in. We have to practice our faith
and show ourselves a Living Sacrifice unto God. We have to serve
Christ in love through others. A Christian life is a new Life in
Christ and God the Father. So, His Spirit indwelling us has to produce
fruits that Our Father might prune us more (John 15). To whom much is
given, much is expected hence, we have bear fruits worthy of
repentance.

DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH SALVATION for it is a Free GIft from God.
BUT, we should know that we are saved by Grace, justified by Faith and
shall be rewarded by our Works!
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that
shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7)

Let us therefore continue to sow our good works in the Spirit. knowing
that all labours in the Lord is not in vain.
