Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let
patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing." (James 1:2-4)
Everybody has a problem---problem unique to each person. However, what
distinguished Believers from unbelievers is how these problems are
dealt with. Whether we believe Christ or not, tribulation will come.
However, the uniqueness of us is our faith.
Jesus Christ stated clearly without an exception of any, that, "In the
world ye shall have tribulation:". But we seem to always question Him
why we are faced with what we face. Christ lived a sinless life yet,
He was convicted of sin. Christ never offend any but the Truth He
speaks offend many--He didn't mind but lay down His life for the
righteous and the opposite.
If the world could do such to Him, how much more would they do to His
adopted children?
Our tool to having victory is our faith--the absolute trust and
believe in the Redeemer. Whenever tribulation comes or we travail,
let's just embrace it for His sake rather than blaming God. He knew us
before the very beginning and knows what our future hold. He has plans
for us and He knows what is best.
Let us not despair or be like those that think there is no hope.
Rather, let's "count it all joy"and know that strong tribulation
builds strong faith. Jesus said, "In the world ye shall have
tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John
16:33)
I pray that the Father of Lights and God of Hope comforts us now and forever.
Amen
