" Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. " (1 John:3:1)
Glory be to God for the Love He has bestowed upon us. Blessed be Almighty God for His loving kindness and His tender mercies. The Bible makes us understand that "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."; The Word said, "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." This God is amazing. This God is good. He that loved us some much before our great grand parents were born. He that loved us so much that giving His son to take away our guilt was not a problem or a hard thing for Him; HE deserves praise and worship.
" And above all things have fervent charity (love) among yourselves: for charity (love) shall cover the multitude of sins. " (1 Peter:4:8)
This is where it stands: that God loves so much, we ought to love one another. He so much loved us that HE forgave us! His unfailing genuine love covered every of our sins. Beloved, we ought to do the same as His loyal followers; we have to do the same as Children.
" Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. " (1 John 3:9-10) Therefore beloved, let us learn the act of love. Let us learn to forgive. Whenever we are wronged or hurt, before we hold grudges, let's think of how much we wronged God and yet forgives us. Let's seek to reconcile and pray for a heart of forgiveness. Let's not make love a word or talk matter.
" And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. " (1 John:3:23)
May God give us the heart always do His commandments, Amen.
